Two-at-a-Time Socks Workshop with Fiona Morris
£60.00
To take part in this workshop, please make sure you already know how to knit a basic sock
You may be one of the many sock knitters that loves making the first sock but loses enthusiasm to knit the second sock. An alternative approach is to knit the two socks at the same time.
This course is offered in 2 parts - getting started and then working the majority of the sock.
Part One
+ Knitting in the round using Magic Loop
+ Casting on two socks in the correct sequence
+ Joining the cast on stitches into a circle without twisting the cast on edge
+ Working a rib pattern
Part Two
+ Knitting the heel flap
+ Knitting the heel turn
+ Picking up stitches for the gusset and going back to joining in the round
+ Finishing the sock
When and where
Part One: Saturday 1st November - 2pm until 4pm
Part Two: Saturday 8th November - 1pm until 5:30pm
At Fully Woolly in Hythe, Southampton
