The Balloon Jacket is a button-less oversized cardigan with big balloon sleeves. Use it on cold winter days or as a spring and fall jacket. It is worked bottom up in garter st with rib edges. The body and the sleeves are worked separately and seamed together in the end. Lastly, sts are picked up at the front sides and neck to build the continuous front bands and collar in rib st. Please bear in mind that the Balloon Jacket will grow in length with wear.

Tension Guide: 13.5 sts x 23 rows in garter st = 10 x 10 cm on 7 mm needles
Approx: 1,100 - 1,500metres of Aran and 1,260 - 1,470metres of Mohair
Needles: Circular needles: 7 mm and 6 mm / 60cm and 100cm.
