Fixing Problems in Knitting with Fiona Morris

In this workshop Fiona will help knitters with a range of common mistakes e.g. picking up a dropped stitch, correcting a wrongly worked stitch, correcting a wrongly worked decrease which may be several rows below the current point, problems with uneven tension, edge stitches etc.
There will be lots of time to ask Fiona your knitting questions so think of this as a Knitting Surgery!
What to bring
+ Some basic knitting on the needles so you can have a go at fixing mistakes yourself. (The knitting should be in a light coloured smooth yarn so you can clearly see the knitting stitches)
+ Locking stitch marker for holding stitches.
+ A crochet hook of a size suitable for the piece of knitting you have with you i.e. a 4mm hook for DK yarn
+ A spare needle such as a double pointed needle in a size smaller than the needles you used for your knitting is also useful.

Each workshop will be 4 hours long and have space for 10 attendees as well as the instructor and shop owner. An email will be sent out several days before with instructions on where to park and how to find us.
