Join us for a hands-on Drop Spinning Workshop with Liz from A Tail of Yarn and learn how to create your very own yarn from scratch!
This inspiring session covers everything you need to get started — from exploring different fibre types and prepping fleece, to mastering drop spindle techniques like ‘park & draft’. You’ll also try your hand at blending fibres, plying yarn, winding your own centre-pull ball, and finishing your yarn ready to use.
It’s a wonderfully tactile, mindful craft — perfect for anyone curious about the magic behind the yarn on your needles!

Each workshop will be 3.5 hours long and have space for 6 attendees as well as the instructor and shop owner. An email will be sent out several days before with instructions on where to park and how to find us.
