Selecting the best method of casting on or casting off can make a big difference to the overall look of your knitting when the item is finished and picking up stitches around necklines is also important for a professional finish. In this workshop we will look at different methods of casting on and casting off to give garments a better finish, picking up stitches for a neckline and buttonholes.

What to bring
+ Knitted neckline sample (details will be sent once you have confirmed your space)
+ DK, Aran or Chunky yarn to work samples and finish the neckline sample.
+ Knitting needles to suit the yarn.
+ Scissors, tapestry needle, pen or pencil
+ Lunch

Each workshop will be 5 hours long, with a lunch break, and have space for 10 attendees as well as the instructor and shop owner. An email will be sent out several days before with instructions on where to park and how to find us.
