Introduction to Sock Knitting - 2 Week Course with Nicky Barfoot

Fully Woolly Yarns

£40.00

Nothing beats the cosy comfort of hand knitted socks and as a portable project, small enough to fit in most handbags, no time is ever wasted again sitting in a waiting room or on public transport when you have socks on the needles.

During this workshop, split into two three hour sessions, Nicky will teach you the anatomy of a sock, how to turn a heel and how to graft a toe. You will be working in the round using a long circular needle and the magic loop method. You will be given a basic sock pattern to start working from in class, which you can take away and finish at your leisure.
