After completing a tube, a straight line is cut along the center of a column of stitches, in order to make room for an opening or place to attach another piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIn this one day workshop Fiona will teach you how to knit Fair Isle in the round with a yarn in each hand and including a ‘steek’ area in the knitting. Once the mug hug is knitted Fiona will show you how to work a crochet steek to stabilise the knitted fabric before cutting the knitting open to make a flat piece of knitting.
