Corner to Corner Crochet with Fiona Morris

Fully Woolly Yarns

With the accessibility of these new long colour change yarns, diagonal box stitch, used for Corner to Corner crochet, is a fun way to showcase these yarns and is an easy stitch to work once you know how to make the basic box unit. It is mostly used for blankets and cushions but it can also be used for garments made in panels.

In the class we will cover making the basic unit to start in one corner, increasing rows and then decreasing rows to finish back with 1 unit.

The Pot Holder sample in the picture was worked an Aran weight yarn  using a 5mm crochet hook.

To attend this class you need to be able to work basic crochet stitches i.e. to make a foundation chain and work the double crochet stitch.
